Tombstone, Arizona Tourism

Once known for being a rough and tumble town of the old west, today Tombstone is also the place to go for rest and rejuvenation at its many spas and resorts. Interestingly, Tombstone was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1962. Be sure to check out some of the historic locations!

Museums, Monuments and More in Tombstone

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum - See animals of the desert, follow nature trails, meander through the botanical garden and visit the limestone caves found here. There are also an assortment of exhibits and displays explaining desert life.

Bird Cage Theatre - Once known as "the wildest and wickedest nightspot between Basin Street and the Barbary Coast" this famed night club is the inspiration for the song "Only a Bird in a Gilded Cage".

Rose Tree Museum - This is the site of the world's largest rose bush. Blooming each April, the 8,000 square foot rose bush is truly a magnificent site to behold.

Tombstone Western Heritage Museum - Steep yourself in the life and times of Wyatt Earp, and other artifacts of the old west.

O.K. Corral - See the stagecoach office, buildings and life size figurines at this famed gunfighter's corral. Nearby are the Boothill Graveyard and the Tombstone Epitaph Museum where you can gain insight to the thoughts of those who lived and died in this historic town.
